Salon Etiquette
Suki Hairdressing aims to provide a pampered and bespoke experience for every client, every visit. For us to deliver the most premium services and experience, we kindly ask that you observe our etiquette guidelines.
- We equally respect the time of all our clients, which is why it’s essential for you to arrive on time for your appointment, preventing other clients being delayed for their services.
- If you’re unable to make your appointment, let us know as soon as possible, otherwise, a cancellation fee may be applied. This allows other clients the opportunity to fill the appointment.
- We strive to create a relaxing and tranquil environment. Please be courteous, put your phone on silent and respect everyone else’s time of relaxation.
- Children are welcome in our salon, but we encourage you to bring something that they can entertain themselves with. We want our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed, without any distractions.
- If you schedule a colour appointment, avoid wearing white or high-collared tops. We take the utmost care when colouring, however, we prefer to prevent any damage to garments during colouring and rinsing. We have a change room so you can replace your top with one of our Suki gowns. Suki does not take responsibility for any clothing or personal items.

Sustainable Practices
Suki Hairdressing is a proud member of Sustainable Salons Australia and shares the belief that by making a change, we will make a positive outcome on the future generations, the environment and the industry. Each and every team member is educated on the theory and function of our sustainable practices, which include:
- Collecting hair for hair booms that are transported to ports around Australia to soak up oil spills.
- Collecting ponytail donations for children that suffer from cancer and alopecia. This hair is used to make children’s wigs.
- Collecting and properly disposing of chemicals, colour tubes, paper, plastic, and tools; all for recycling.
- All metals and our foil for colouring are recycled; the proceeds going to OzHarvest. (4 heads of foils provide 1 meal).
The sustainable waste management system has been introduced to influence the mindset of existing and all future stylists in this industry, where minimising the negative impact on the environment is a priority and a core value.
Our salon is sustainable from top to bottom. The delectable teas that our clients enjoy are Certified Organic. Waste is not a word in our vocabulary, so you can choose to take home your biodegradable towels to use in your garden or for cleaning, promoting reuse. Our sustainable practices don’t stop there, we ensure that our fixtures and energy outputs are the most sustainable materials possible, as well as being energy efficient. Our gloves worn by our colour technicians are nitrile and biodegradable, we use eco friendly eye wear protection and we even source toilet paper from recycled paper.
